River Road Coffees is celebrating 10 years of great taste! For a decade, the Melancon family has provided great tasting coffees through their coffee service and local retail sales. They are excited to recognize their accomplishments and thank the discerning coffee drinkers of Baton Rouge for their loyalty. As part of the celebrations, River Road Coffees is introducing new retail packaging and planning in-store demonstrations around the city. Additionally, they are committing to donate part of their proceeds to the YMCA Strong Kids Scholarship Program.
“We want to thank our customers for contributing to our ongoing success,” said founder, John Melancon. “We appreciate their support throughout the last decade, and we look forward to continuing to share our carefully blended and expertly roasted coffees with them.”
To commemorate their 10th anniversary, River Road Coffees is introducing a new look for their entire line of coffees. The new retail bags are colorful and distinctive so consumers can immediately recognize the brand and easily select their preferred roast. Additionally, the updated packaging shares useful information about the company, their coffees, and techniques for flavorful brewing. You can expect to see the new and improved River Road Coffees bags on supermarket shelves in early September.
“While our packaging is getting a makeover,” said Ian Melancon, president of River Road Coffees, “inside the bag you’ll find the same rich, distinguished, freshly roasted coffees you have come to expect over the past 10 years.”
River Road Coffees are available at quality grocery stores and coffee shops throughout the region, as well as online. As part of the 10th anniversary celebrations, there will be several in-store demonstrations in the coming weeks. During these demonstrations, you can sample the different roasts made from River Road Coffees’ distinctive Baton Rouge Blend.
“At River Road Coffees, we are passionate about coffee and the coffee roasting process,” said John Melancon. “We take the time to blend our own beans and roast them to perfection in small batches. We decided a long time ago that quality was more important than quantity, an idea that has defined our company philosophy for 10 years.”
